so i’ve mentioned my friend terry, right? well as we started talking about attending the emerald city comicon in seattle in march, i thought it’d be real cool if boo could have a costume, too. terry offered to make her an ahsoka costume in time for the event (which at that time was less than 2 weeks). here’s some photos from the build, which turned out incredible considering how little time he had, and better than anything available for sale online!
the raw materials included some fabric terry had in stock, some tights, shirt and boots from the mall…
sizing up the base of what would become the head tails…
the head tails were probably the most complicated to create in time, but they turned out really well…
terry even had time to make an ahsoka backpack complete with little rotta creature (not pictured here, but you’ll see in the comicon shots)
we did a dress rehearsal at home the night before we left for the comicon, complete with face-paint and lip gloss by mommy! boo was so excited about it, she had practiced the ahsoka poses all week!
