i’m a huge fan of Rush drummer Neil Peart who has just recorded his own version of The Hockey Theme on TSN. check out the video below, which is also avialable on iTunes on january 19. his custom drum kit used to record “canada’s second national anthem” will be donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

    watched it twice, so good. i'm too young to have loved Rush the first time around (sorry) but I did have a good friend who said they were the best thing to ever come out of Canada and made sure I caught up on their music. i agree, they are definitely at least in the top 5 exports.
