our trip from new york to boston on sunday started with an adventure. our rental car broke down in the middle of no where on the highway, and we waited 2 hours in the rain for some help to finally arrive. we ended up having to take a taxi the rest of the way into boston, since there were no replacement cars for us nearby. we had to make over 20 cell phone calls from the side of the highway to budget rent-a-car before a state trooper finally saw us and called for help. needless to say, we weren’t too impressed with budget’s lack of customer service…
once we got to boston though, we enjoyed the rest of our time doing a little bit of hurried sightseeing in-between sessions at the design conference i was there to attend. alas, the trip home was boo’s last free flight home as she’ll be turning 2 next weekend.
