is it really thanksgiving? last time i had time to look at the calendar it was still march. ok not really, but you know what i mean. this year has just disappeared so far. i cannot believe it’s mid-october already.
the sign outside a church i passed by today read, “thanksgiving is more than just one day; it’s a lifestyle.” true, true. i like that. in a year that has presented so much that’s difficult, there’s still much to be thankful for.
today after service, a friend asked if they could pray for me. i was so encouraged. i don’t remember the last time that happened. it’s not that i don’t feel cared for unless this happens. i know many people care. but when it does like it did today, it really has the power to make a difference. it reminded me that we have some good, genuine friends. so in addition to much else, i’m thankful for that today. what about you?
oh yeah, and boo says, happy thankgiving!

In the spirit of thanksgiving... I am thankful for friends like you and Ang. You have been generous with your time, resources, support and prayers. (Just listing out meals that Ang has made for us will probably take up the comments word allotment) Friends like you are hard to come by... Happy Turkey Day!
PS... Boo is the cutest Eeyore EVER!!
