i forgot to mention this little story that happened while we were still in the hospital…

one day i was alone in our hospital room with the baby for a minute and in walks another nurse, one that we hadn’t met before. i guess she must have just looked at the patient name sign by the door outside, because as she knocked and opened the door she peeks her head in and looks at me with matia in my arms asking,

“mrs. chen?”

“uh, no…” i responded, “she’ll be back in just a second. i’m her husband.”
